About Me

I was a  Ph.D. candidate in electrical and computer engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, focusing on computer architecture. I finished in August, 2005. I graduated from Purdue in May 1999 with my BS in electrical engineering and a minor in political science. I'm also a 1996 alumnus ofBeavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio.

While at Purdue, I was active the Beta Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, the EE Honor Society. I served as president in Spring 1999, treasurer in Fall 1998, and have held various committee positions before and after.

While an undergraduate at  Purdue, I  worked for the Center for Collaborative Manufacturing, an NSF Engineering Research Center at Purdue. During the summers of 1998 and 1999, I worked in the VLSI Department at Tellabs, a producer of telecommunications hardware in Lisle, IL. I also was an undergraduate teaching assistant for ENGR116 and ENGR117, the accelerated Freshman Engineering computer tools and programming classes.
