States I have visited or in which I have lived

I shamelessly swiped the idea for this page (and the map) from my former high school physics and chemistry lab partner, Tim Hackett. As of the end of Summer 2000, I have visited all 48 of the contiguous states. The dates next to each state indicate the last time I was there.  Most of my recent western-state visits have come from two solo road/camping-trips I have taken while in graduate school, the first in May-June 2000 and the second in June-July of 2002 (approximately shown by blue and red routes on map).

Over time, I'll try to add links to various photos for some states.
